The songwriting team of Ellington and Strayhorn is legendary. This is one of their lesser known tunes, but certainly not less in effectiveness in the able hands of Frank Mantooth. Alto and Flugel are featured off the top in thismedium swing chart, then the rest of the ensemble joins in with some very effective scoring textures. The open solo section gives this chart added flexibility.
