Grandmother Song

“Grandmother Song” is an introduction to the Mohican tradition of “sung syllables,” or what Native Americans call “vocables.” Combining them with traditional wood flute songs, composer BrentMichael Davids offers a fresh look at the “sound” of Native American songs.
