13 Old Dances

A collection of Old time dances arranged for Soprano and Alto Recorder by Joannes Collette.

Included in this volume are examples of the diversity of old dance styles: such as Contredance, a 17th century English dance with two queues of dancers opposite each other, and Nachtanz, a quick jump-dance that follows a slower number, to name but two.
