California Dreamin'

This is really one of the great evergreens and of course on the "Rolling Stones" list of the 100 best songs of all time. But it would take over 50 years before it reached the top of Billboard's list with a "dance" version made by Freischwimmer (2016). In 1965, it was recorded by Barry McGuire and with "The Mamas and The Papas" members as a backing group, but it was only when they recorded it themselves that the first success came through. It has since lived in a number of recordings ranging from Jazz to Country and has also been song tracks in a lot of movies.
