Two Swedish songs, a secular folk song and a spiritual chorale, provide an enchanting and suspenseful basis for this concert music, that breaks normal conventions. It places high demands on the performer, but also the audience. If one wants to do justice to this colorful and contrasting music, an instrument with a correspondingly rich register palette is required.
